Our history
We knew this house when we were children, but we conquered it in 2018. We chose to keep the beautiful custom-made furnishings created by local artisans in the 70s... and from those years there are even two rooms left with the original wallpaper . The doors, the ceilings, the windows might creak every now and then but if you think about how much heat they give to this house maybe you won't notice, in fact you might like it and make you discover that each room has a different colour, sound, creak. We at Tetide Home would like to make you feel at home and we would like even these small details to remain a pleasant memory.

Who we are?
Tetide Home was born in the family, father Giovanni and mother Rosalia chose the name and designed every space and detail together with us children without distorting the originality of the house as it was in the 70s. It's a starred guest house but above all it's home. It is managed by me, Eleonora, but Leonardo, the eldest, and Elisabetta, the youngest, act as support (it follows that I am the middle of the children). To help us and take care of the rooms you will meet Mrs Paola, our trustworthy and irreplaceable collaborator.
Courtesy and smile are our best business card... We could not welcome you otherwise in such a sunny land!
...why TETIDE?
Teti or Tetide (Tethys) in Greek mythology, daughter of Gaea and Uranus and wife of Oceanus, is the great Goddess of the sea.
In geology, the Tethys ocean derives from the name of the Goddess of the sea, which was a large ocean basin created around 250 million years ago and which separated northern Africa from Europe and Asia.
Between 20 and 12 millions of years ago the Tethys ocean closed in the central Mediterranean region.
We called our home Tethys because it was the sea that embraced all the continents and, in our imagination, the peoples who then inhabited them. Tethys brings them together from all parts of the world, they return together, to our home, as if we were that sea.
